For the first time, experts from 5 European countries are joining forces to reference eco-materials in a database, which is reliable, transparent, regularly updated, easy to access and rich in technical and practical information, in order to enable eco-materials to be compared and the impact of the materials and building products on the environment and on health to be assessed.
The CAP’EM project will be able to propose a simplified low cost tool, based on LCA standards to enable SME's to qualify their products as eco-materials.
In the meantime, the CAP'EM website aims to become a "hub" for information on eco-materials. Use the menus to the left to access our
