The Green Building Cluster (GBC) is one of the 14 official clusters of the Walloon region in Belgium. It is a network gathering over 70 eco-construction SME's including architects, builders, material manufacturers and suppliers, research centres and experts in renewable energy and alternative water treatment.
GBC has led major projects since 2002 including an eco-renovation skills programme (2005) and the creation of an active cluster of specialised small businesses that together offer a complete eco-construction service (www.lagrappe.be).

Role in the CAP'EM project
|
GBC brings to CAP’EM their experience in communicating with all actors of the supply chain, which will be most useful for the dissemination of project findings among professionals in the Walloon region (Work Package 3). They will also identify eco-materials for inclusion in the CAP’EM database (Work Package 2), thanks to their deep knowledge of all the SME's involved in the production of eco-materials in Walloon.
